IN OUR NAME: Iraqi Children in War, Bard College at Simon’s Rock, Great Barrington, Massachusetts, 2006.

This installation depicted outlines of wounded and bandaged Iraqi children in 6 x 6’ drawings which hung over two–3’ x 40’ friezes of stylized cutouts of children. On the right side those black cutouts stare at us like a Greek chorus as if to ask: "Can't you do something?” And, on the left side, the frieze portrays disintegrating images of children. The ripped and torn ceiling scrims evoke the chaos and powerlessness of war. This work was shown at first shown at Bard College at Simon’s Rock, Great Barrington, NY, then moved to Hudson Hall, Hudson, NY.
