I was accepted into a residency at the Studios at Key West and was asked to create a mural for the Key West Montessori Charter School. I wanted to express the energy and vibrancy of the school, so I used photos of the students for the mural templates. I encouraged the children to respond to the mural, which became a backdrop for their running, jumping, cartwheels and head stands. It was a grand month.
